It’s a well-known fact most kids look forward to summer vacation. But for those living in households struggling with food insecurity, summertime can mean fewer meals without the support of free or low-cost lunch programs provided by most schools.

A new report by Feeding America revealed that child food insecurity rate in Western Massachusetts is 14.2%.

How can you help fight hunger? Join Sitterly Movers in making a donation to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. They distribute food to independent pantries, meal sites, and shelters in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties.
