Secure Storage
Sitterly Movers owns four warehouses in Deerfield and Springfield, Massachusetts to accommodate our customers' storage needs.
At any given time, more than 300 families and businesses entrust their possessions to the Sitterly storage experts. We offer vault storage, self-storage rental units and warehouse floor-space storage to meet the varied and specific requirements of our many customers.
Vault Storage
Items and articles to be stored are sealed within large wooden containers, also known as pallets, which are each capable of holding more than an average room of household furnishings. All items are inventoried, and wrapped in quilted moving pads. Large items, such as sofas and rugs, are shrink wrapped in plastic, tagged with identification, and stored on specially constructed warehouse racking. Vaults remain sealed for the duration of storage, and are never opened or accessed without the expressed written consent of the customer. Our monitored, secured warehouse facilities are protected against theft, vandalism, and fire. The cost of vault storage is $35.00 per month, per vault. There is a one-month's minimum storage charge on items being stored for less than a month. Customers requiring storage for longer terms are billed monthly. Following the first months' minimum full charge for storage, storage services ending within the first 15 days of any subsequent month are pro-rated by a half-month.
Self-storage Units
Individual units are available in a range of sizes and priced from $30.00 to $125.00 per month to suit individual budgets and storage needs. As with vaulted storage, above, self-storage is billed on a monthly basis, and there is a minimum charge of one full months' storage for all units. Customers may move their own belongings into their storage units, or arrange for our moving crews to perform those services for them. Each customer secures their unit with their own lock, retains their own keys, and may access their unit at any time during business hours. Emergency and off-hours access can be made by appointment.
