Your Girl Scout Cookies Are Coming

Springfield, MA., March 3, 2006 – Get ready, your Girl Scout cookies will soon be on their way!
Beginning Saturday, March 4, 2006, Girl Scout counsels across the Pioneer Valley will have their vehicles loaded with eight varieties of cookies making their way into your home courtesy of Roger Sitterly & Son, Inc.
It’s the 7th year the local moving and storage company has aided the Girl Scouts in the delivery of their annual cookie sale which consists of over 260,000 boxes of cookies. “We love this time of year! I think everyone looks forward to Girl Scout Cookies,” said Rod Sitterly, owner of Roger Sitterly & Son, Inc.
“We’re just happy to help out where we can.” Delivery efforts consist of four pickup locations across the greater Springfield area, with the main pickup point located at Hoppe Tool at 107 First Avenue in Chicopee. Sitterly Movers, led by commercial project manager Steve Renkawitz, will provide seven trailers and over 20 employees towards the effort. Trucks will be unloaded beginning at 8:30am Saturday morning and will continue throughout the next two weeks.
