During the past 70 years, Sitterly Movers has successfully relocated thousands of home and apartment dwellers moving locally within the Pioneer Valley. At one time or another, we have probably visited most homes and apartments in the area between Northfield, MA and Enfield, CT. If you are not the first resident where you are now living, or to where you are planning to move, chances are we may have been to your address in the past, too.
Quality
All of our moving crews are employees of Sitterly Movers. We do not use independent moving crews, free-lance crews, or inexperienced subcontractors, to either augment and/or substitute for our own moving crews. Our highly trained and professional movers handle your belongings and keepsakes with care. Each moving van is equipped with over 100 moving pads to wrap and protect your furniture and other valuables.
Your Protection
Our customers are fully protected because Sitterly Movers is appropriately insured.All of our employees are covered by workman's compensation insurance and our company is covered for public liability and property damage. Our customers need not worry about any personal liability when they have chosen Sitterly as they mover.
What's "Local"?
At Sitterly Movers we consider all moving within the state of Massachusetts a local move. The cost is based on an hourly rate for the van and driver, plus each additional helper. The time starts when the crew leaves the office nearest the origin of the move (either Deerfield or Springfield, MA) and stops when they return to that office. (For moves totaling under 3 rooms, and smaller moving jobs, a 4-hour minimum may apply.)
